My top genre is horror. After that, in no particular order I like hard sci-fi, westerns, Vietnam war fiction or memoirs, literary fiction, crime and fiction of all sorts from the pulp era.
Occasionally I like fantasy. I avoid urban fantasy or romances which are all too often one in the same.
