Greetings... Please pardon my intrusion, as I am not a programmer. I am looking for a solution here that will allow me to read my Kindle KFX (retail) books in Calibre (and hopefully convert them to EPUB/AZW3 book modes so that I can read them in Calibre. I buy ebooks from Amazon, but I don't really enjoy reading them on the Kindle Fire device. I read books on my PC mostly. I can import my Kindle KFX books to Calibre in the newest app (2.80) (Thank you, Kovidgoyal). It "see's" the Kindle book - but it doesn't convert it. And it cannot read it, either.
Is there by chance a project in the works to make it possible to convert the KFX to EPUB/ASW3, or am I simply stuck with reading my Kindle books in my Kindle Fire? (sigh....) A reply would be much appreciated.
