I manually updated my Glo from 4.3.8842 to 4.3.8871.
Tthe only difference I have noticed so far is that syncing without first turning on the wi-fi worked. (Edit: Well it worked the first time, now it is broken again. Maybe it is a server problem.)
Reading stats are still broken, it took only a few minutes reading to clock up a couple of hundred hours on the stats.
