Wanted to buy the new one, however I have only had the v1 since the big Oprah sale. So could not justify it. Besides it would have to catch up with me. On a ship on deployment and we don't stay put.

Mine is working fine for now, I love the Kindle. Want to see a bit more competition in the market and see what develops before I upgrade. I see a lot of hints out there for some great ideas, want to see what happens.
