I did a factory reset last year because of a different issue. It did not fix the dictionary lookup problem.
I can't see any pattern to the lockups. Sometimes I can read almost a whole book with plenty of dictionary lookups without any freezing, other times the freeze happens much more frequently. One thing that seems to be guaranteed to cause a lockup is switching to one of the non-English dictionaries.
