Bunduki

The J.T. Edson Bunduki books have been released for kindle for $1.99 each. I've been trying to get my hands on this series for years. The first book "Bunduki" was reprinted by DAW in the US so it's not too hard to find. The other three books were limited run, UK only, very expensive to find Corgi editions. I think I paid about $35 to get "Bunduki and Dawn" in a used paperback shipped from the UK a few years ago.

I don't know if the $1.99 is a permanent price, or just an introductory one. They've only been out a couple of weeks.

Instead, Bunduki woke to find himself in a primeval jungle and armed with primitive weapons. Dawn came to her senses on a game-haunted plain. Guided by subconscious suggestion, they set out to find each other. To do so, they had to transverse terrain populated by many kinds of wild animals and savage people. Before they were reunited, both had to face danger and death many times.
Fortunately for Dawn and Bunduki, they were respectively the adoptive great-granddaughter and son of Lord Greystoke—
