As a long-time PRS500 user, and a recent PRS505 user, I find the stock case of the PRS505 completely unusable. The 500 case just folded neatly behind the unit when it was in use. If I try to fold the 505 case, the whole units slides over on its mountings, exposing a nasty hard thin edge of case all down the right hand side. I find it very uncomfortable to hold.
Am I doing something wrong? I was going to make a new 500-style case from leather and Velcro it onto the back of the 505. But maybe I'm just not using the new one properly? |
Do you mean the left hand side? I fold mine no problem.
