They put the song in the "rock/pop." genre--pop it probably is; rock it definitely is
not. But it seems like a lot of tracks that are not the least bit rock & roll are getting thrown into that category nowadays. It seems to fit in the "Alternative/Pop" genre to me.
This is not really my type of music. But, the fact that I've posted the song indicates that I think that the quality is there. The singer does fine, and the song, accurately categorized, is not the least bit inferior, IMHO, to other ones like it that I've heard. Thumbs up.
