Yeah, I didn't change from what the dropdown menu had as the default, which was a very high quality lossless format of some kind. I went back and selected the lossy FLAC, I think that it was. I was overwhelmed with the choices, but Naxos' FLAC albums always sounded good (but they may be lossless).
My listening, like yours, is only going to be on a laptop computer or such like. And, I don't have the "ear" to tell the difference anyway.
