I always thought the Kindle 1 was an ugly little bugger...but that's why I liked it so very much (well, that and Whispernet and its other features). It has a "Screw fashion! We're making it like this!" attitude. I like that. It's like the pre-GM approach to design that Saab had.

The new Kindle is pretty.
