On the new Kindle page at Amazon it says, "Included Accessories: Power adapter, USB 2.0 cable, rechargeable battery." Since they listed them separately, I took this to mean a power adapter other than the USB cable, ie a wall adapter. Did Amazon specifically say it would only be rechargeable via computer? That would seem odd. Amazon seemed very intent on making the original Kindle completely usable without computer access.
