Here’s the recently discovered short novel “Life and Adventures of Jack Engle: An Auto-Biography” by Walt Whitman (1819–1892,
Wikipedia), which was first published, from March 14 to April 18, 1952, in Manhattan’s
Sunday Dispatch newspaper.
The original text was riddled with typographical errors. No effort was made to correct them.
