The info I saw from Booxstore: boox max 13' new version in june will have hdmi in ! But the current version have no light and i assume it's the old tech (ePearl ?).
Be aware as a newbie in ereading I was disappointed with the background darkness on my i86. Hopefully, there is in build light. But when i see now the new eink (carta ?) tech on small 6', I would give a try even if 8' is better for pdf. For bigger also.
