I second everything Gideon says...

I was on the fence about E-books until I did some research and was blown away with the features of the Kindle 1... then I saw that I was a week away from K2 being released and felt that now was the time.

If you take the long view... the more E-book users there are then the more E-books will be available. Eventually the format/DRM issues will work themselves out and the consumer is the overall winner.

So, in my opinion, there is no reason to bash the Kindle or Sony or any other reader... The more the merrier.
