Incidentally, you must use the + on the top row of keyboard--- the one on the side num-keypad does not work. However, the minus from either one will work to "smallen" your text.
I have to resize larger frequently, eyes tire very quickly.

Ah-ha, I would have used numpad '+' and '-'. I rarely, if ever, use the ones on the top row for arithmetic purposes. I have preview permanently docked on the right - I dismiss with F10 if gets in the way of something. I'm not even sure how much I actually look at it, it's more of a comfort thing - and I don't like having CV window too wide.
I'd like to add something to your wish list.
Option to underline mispelt words in Preview, just that - i.e no editing.
Added : Begosh and begorrah - I just discovered that ctrl+top row '+' and '-' zoom code view - why wasn't I told?
