So, if I don't first download the eMusic piece, I will get a re-direct like you did, but if I do first download, I won't? Well, I always want to listen to the freebie first, so I'll have to go to the actual product/item page and give that URL on my posts. And, like you said it is always better to go to the actual product/item page, instead of a player that displays it as part of the content.
The digital version could be available any number of places, though. There seem to be a lot of websites where new artists can upload their music, and people can buy it, or maybe even get it free. Maybe one of these days I can collect the URL's of these websites together and post them all. I don't know how many MobileReaders would be interested in them, though. After all, this is primarily a website for people who are interested in ebooks, not digital music.
