Sounds okay, as long as you get the card instantly. I wouldn't trust them to send it to me later.

I bought a laptop from them, oh . . . about 13 years ago. Was supposed to get a $150 rebate. After I had exhausted my efforts trying to get them to send it to me, I went to the local store where I bought it and literally watched as an employee wrote out a letter to the relevant department at BestBuy's home office. I'm still waiting for the rebate.

I can hear some of you now, "but that was many years ago, upper management may have changed since then, blah, blah, blah." Yes, but I won't ever be able to keep from feeling the way that I do about Best Buy. "Once bitten, twice shy."
