The image will not help you as it is linked to the CID of the SD card. I explained it in this thread ways to revitalize Pocketbooks with internal SD:

Easiest and most affordable way seems to me to contact pocketbook and ask for a new image for a MicroSD, you already have. Please keep us informed how it went.
