That got me thinking about another way that worked better, which was the Evernote Web Clipper. It's a similar process but requires two steps to save to Evernote then send to the PPW.
BTW, I could not get Send to Kindle or Send to Reader to work properly. All they would send was the visible part of the chapter on screen (so only about two paragraphs). But the Evernote clipper captured the whole chapter. I think the new O'Reilly Safari is more restrictive and gets in the way for those clippers.

Send To Kindle does have its issues, but it works a lot of the time with SBO. Just need to Preview to make sure it is not skipping content, and if it is, a workaround is to select the chapter text and then Send. I don't think it has been updated in awhile, and might have browser-specific issues as well (I pretty much only use Chrome).
Evernote Clipper is more robust, as is OneNote clipper (which is what I've been using lately). OneNote clipper lets you adjust the text size and edit the text before sending (in article mode).
