I can say after going through Amazon looking for Retro Romance it's near impossible to find them the way samhain has their books set up. This must have contributed to their closing and the pricing is inconsistent with their site even before the sites sale prices.
It seems to me they didn't care enough about the authors to try and compete with others. While it looks like their prices have come down somewhat without promoting it to the reader how is anyone to know? Patricia Hagan books are now under $5 but even cheaper on the site without the sale price however as most buy from Amazon, Kobo...Etc Samhain lazy way of promotion is what probably did them in.
