Interesting. I gave it a 5/5 when I read the eARC, but on a re-read of the final version, I dropped it to 4/5. Somehow, on the reread, parts of the middle dragged and felt slightly contrived. Which doesn't change my enjoyment of it overall, and I'd certainly like to read more about these characters and this world. (Note that there is a Baen Free Story,
Does a Bear Shoot in the Woods up on the Baen site. Not directly related, but the same overall world. And quite a good story, I might add. And FREE.
