Get FREE Trial to iHeartRadio--Now with Prince's "Full Catalogue"!

Frankly, I haven't given iHeartRadio much thought since . . . well, never. I've got my little free Spotify account when I want to listen to one or more songs, and I just deal with the ads (which seem like they're more common than they used to be on Spotify).

None of the music subscription services are perfect. For example, did you know that none of Taylor Swift's albums appear on Spotify? Nor any of her singles, except for ones that she performed for movie soundtracks, and other miscellaneous things like that.

Prince's albums and ordinary singles aren't on Spotify, either. And, he was one of my favorite singers in mid to late 1980's. But, iHeartRadio apparently just now has put Prince's "full catalogue" (that sounds a little nuanced to me--I'm not sure that that means his absolute entire body of work), to stream, on their service.

iHeartRadio has a 30 day free trial offer, which you can use for their "Plus" (basic) service or their "All Access" (I don't know why you would want to get a trial of their basic service, when you could get a trial of the full monty, but anyway . . . .).

Here are the features for the plans. The "Plus" acccount has all of the first four below; the "All Access" account has all seven:
- Play any song
- Unlimited skips
- Save songs from radio to your playlist
- Instantly replay songs from the radio
- Listen offline
- Unlimited access to millions of songs
- Create unlimited playlists

Note; the "Plus" account is available only for devices with iOS or Android.

You can sign up for one of the free trial offers here, on this webpage.

Want to listen to some Prince music to whet your appetite for this service? Well, the whole time that I've been researching and writing this post, I have been listening to Prince's songs nearly nonstop (there was a brief three or four commercials, mainly early on), free--on iHeartRadio (in a part of their website called iHeartPrinceRadio (cute, huh?)). They seem to have been playing at random or according to a preset order. I see no reason that you can't do it yourself, by going to the website above. I have to believe that this free feature will be available for a limited time only, however!

I listened probably to at least a three or four dozen Prince songs while creating this post. Don't let anyone fool you--this finding beautiful free music and listening to it is a terrible job! I just hate it! I hate it, do you hear? I don't know if I can stand it any longer . . . .
