It would be insane for someone to own a device which he didn't like, just so he could comment on it. As a criterion, that makes no sense at all.
Some opinions are more informed and nuanced than others, and it's usually obvious which are which. But it would be better either to criticize the opinion as stated or to let it speak for itself rather than to try to undermine the poster.
