No need to worry, I believe that desertgrandma and I have pretty much learnt them how to translate Southernisms. We have a pretty large (and vocal, you know how much we love to chat down here) southeastern contingent, but the Texas group are rowdier.
Back in Oct, after another member, Slayda, retired and had free time, we had a picnic gathering at Desoto Falls in north Ala, up near Ft. Payne. BookishDreamer came in from ATL for that, I'm hoping somebody will organize another get-together in the spring.
