Thanks for clearing up the "send to disk" question.

As far as finding the "send to device", it used to always be a standard option in any menu, context, main toolbar, device or not.

I never really go to the device storage side of things, I pretty much just use it to check and see if it matches up with what is in the library. I do understand that the LM is the icon showing the device.

Regarding sending to device, seriously? I have no idea where it went. I could get it on the main toolbar when device was connected, but nowhere else.

I ended up swapping out the gui json, and PYE files when I found some older ones on a back up disk that had the "send to device" action listed on the context menus.

BTW, there is a TON of information that is outdated in those files. I wonder if this is why my libraries take so long to go through. I wonder if there is a way to start fresh with just the data for whatever is currently happening, and not every bit of data from the history of Calibre. I change stuff all the time, and it seems to want to keep track. I might be mistaken, but this was why tried to go to defaults in the beginning.
