Thank you for such a thorough answer Shaman. Answered pretty much everything I wanted to know.

I think ill definitely go through with the jailbreak at some point for the collection management via calibre. Ill also make sure to read through the instructions a few times before doing it. I tend to do that with pretty much all jailbreaks since it's usually more tedious to read the instructions than to do the actual jailbreak and i'd quite like to keep my device intact and functional. Last thing I want to do is break it.

Thank you as well for the list of Calibre plugins! Ill definitely look at those as well. Besides that, the only question I had left is if I were to update to 5.8.7.0.1 would I be able to downgrade? I only ask because I am seeing nothing nothing to the contrary and I just want to be sure.
