I have to agree. I have only had my reader for less than a year, and I'm a slow reader without a lot of time to read, but even so, twice now I've done what I've done many times for MP3s and movies: I got a copy on the darknet, liked it, and went out and bought a copy to give the author money. And in both cases, I not only bought THAT book, but I bought the rest of the series on eBook format too.

I only do that if I can get a reasonably-priced, DRM free version. Unfortunately, right now that means that it only really happens with Baen books, though I'll look elsewhere too.
