Oh and the major new features it brings to the table are an

- in browser ebook viewer that works offline as well

- support for exporting multiple libraries via a single server instance.

- Multiple user accounts and the ability to restrict what each account can see/do

- And it sets the stage for allowing the server to make modifications to the library in the future, though that wont be part of calibre 3.0.

- Lots of internal technical improvements (basically the entire stack it uses from the backend to the frontend was re-written)
