If you are connecting the Glo to a computer, then you should be able to see things in the "KoboReader" partition. That's where the books go. At the least, there should be a ".kobo" directory. But, by default, that will be hidden if you are connecting to a Mac or Unix machine. If this directory is missing, the device should restart and take you through the setup when you disconnect from the computer.

Before opening the device, I would suggest doing a manual factory reset. See https://www.kobo.com/help/en-US/arti...cts=Kobo%20Glo for instructions. If that doesn't work, then use the image.
