I did rinse it afterwards. The temp is only 104 F. I'm going through their warranty service now, boy is that a fun experience 😕

Their ad says feel free to enjoy in the bath, and my bathwater is much hotter...

Found the temp limits for the device - 32 F to 113 F.

It's possible the failure wasn't from the water, it wasn't immediately after, it was the next day. But I won't take a chance with the next one.
