Yeah. Kobo bugged out of the U.S. along with the closing of Borders.
In the States, finding any e-ink device in a store is unlikely. My local Best Buy has a small Kindle display and B&N has Nooks, but that's about it. Target and Walmart used to carry a few of each, but I haven't seen either in a long time.
