Except the OP was asking about the Aura HD. So the post is up to date.

@peterbryan23: You have actually answered your own question. If you sync the device, it will get any update available to your device. If it doesn't update, then there is no newer firmware for your device. And the last release for the Aura HD was early January 2016 and the date would be in December.
