That's one attitude that I don't get. Putting the books out as ebooks is also publicity for the gaming company/game universe that the books are set in. I note that the old Bard's Tale tie in books are available and the original game was ported over as a pseudo Easter Egg in the iPad remake of the game. Sometimes the suits let marketing theory get in the way of making money.
