I've bought every Kobo since the initial Glo, and every new Kobo was better than the one before EXCEPT for the Aura 6", so no, I won't buy a spare One because I hope there will be a better kobo in the future - on my wish list for hardware are IR and quicker navigation (10" to 20" calling collections is ridiculous). I'm not holding my breath for better dictionaries though that would be awesome.
Also I do have spares: the Glo HD and the H2O. I did have to use the hated Aura 6" for a month when my Aura HD gave up the ghost and I was waiting for the H2O to arrive in France.
