Back when I had a dog I used to do most of my walking late at night -- in the 11 PM to 3 AM range -- and most of the streets around here don't have streetlights. Shadow was a fairly large, somewhat intimidating German shepherd, and we have bears in town.
Now that Shadow's gone I walk in the daylight. This has led to a change in music on my MP3 player -- Jonn Serrie ambient music just doesn't work in the daylight. So, I've been rediscovering some of the other music from my collection.
