This is NOT the same place that books downloaded directly from Amazon appear on the device. The Fire is different from e-ink kindles that use the same folder for both downloaded and sideloaded books.
(Personally I prefer to email my books to my Amazon account. That way they are automatically delivered to my multiple devices and reading locations are also kept in sync between them.) |
Fires may also have a "Kindle" folder in which you may put both books and documents.
