Oh, I'm quite fond of some series that get labeled PNR. I'm just not interested in scooping up a batch when all the author will say about them is "look at the great reviews my books got!" Couple that with generic covers and a generically meaningless series title, and she's quite literally giving me no reason to pick them up... even for free.

I have the same issue with paperbacks that splash a photo of the author across the back cover instead of saying something about the contents. I don't care what the author looks like; it has no bearing on what's between the covers.
