What to do next?
Sorry for the nooby question but I am finding it a bit difficult to navigate all the threads about jailbreaking.

I have at last decided to jailbreak my 2 year old PW2. I was on 5.8.7.0. I downgraded to 5.4.3.2 and then, I think, successfully jailbroke it. I understand I can now upgrade my firmware and I see the latest is 5.8.7.1. I thought I read somewhere a few days ago that I have to be sure that I have a version of the jailbreak that supports the firmware I want to install. So is there anything I need to install or do before I manually update my firmware? Can I install 5.8.7.1 or should I install something less?
