As written elsewhere, I discovered this through Benjamin's Passagenwerk, and got the original edition. As a French woman, and a Parisian, and one who had read Heine on Paris, I loved it. The writing is easy for my middling German (no complex sentences, run of the mill vocabulary, much easier than Benjamin), and the typography was good, so Fraktur was fairly easy on the eyes.
All the same, I'm very pleased to have the electronic version which will be much easier on the eyes.
