Photos, as promised. My photography skill's terrible, but these should give you a good indication anyway.

Both files are perfectly clear and readable on the DR1000S. Page turns take approx 1 second each (running the new firmware - its great!)

Click 3 times on each thumbnail to view the photo more clearly.
