I was a little concerned about the ratings at Amazon. Even though the average is great, there are a very slightly higher number of "1's" than I would have expected. All fears were allayed, however, when I checked the ratings details at GoodReads (4.06 (33))--there were zero "1's" there.
Another, more salient concern, from reading the book description, is the fact that there are only 16 pages of full-color photographs. But, really now, doesn't a slow cooker cooking goulash look a whole lot like a slow cooker cooking fish stew?

Skyhorse Publishing, along with our Good Books and Arcade imprints, is proud to publish a broad range of cookbooks, including books on juicing, grilling, baking, frying, home brewing and winemaking, slow cookers, and cast iron cooking. We’ve been successful with books on gluten-free cooking, vegetarian and vegan cooking, paleo, raw foods, and more. Our list includes French cooking, Swedish cooking, Austrian and German cooking, Cajun cooking, as well as books on jerky, canning and preserving, peanut butter, meatballs, oil and vinegar, bone broth, and more. While not every title we publish becomes a New York Times bestseller or a national bestseller, we are committed to books on subjects that are sometimes overlooked and to authors whose work might not otherwise find a home.

I use the physical copy quite a bit. It was the first Fix it cookbook I bought.
