I don't think there is any way to buy it at $799 in the US. Everybody I contacted is out of stock. I think they were snapped up pretty quickly at the end of last year.

It is a wonderful device. The two page mode in landscape orientation is excellent for reading books. The four page mode makes it easier to find specific handwritten notes.
