Although the Kobo Mini and Glo HD don't have external micro-SD slots, they do have their storage on an internal micro-SD card which can be quite easily upgraded to a larger one. There are instructions in this forum somewhere.
BTW from what I've seen Canada seems to have the lowest prices on Kobo devices. Where I live the H2O sells for $NZ309 (about $CA295).
