We keep our house at 68 or less. Actually, usually around 18 which is closer to 65 degrees. It's Canada, it's the winter. Dress for it.
(Yes, I know, you're NOT in Canada.)
They key is to dress or add a blanket. 68 isn't cold. It's quite comfortable. Even when doing nothing more energetic than working on the computer
