There are other syncs happening at other times. When you open a purchased kepub, it syncs the reading status in case you have read the book on another device. When you open the Pocket list, the articles are refreshed. There is a sync happening when you open the book list, but I'm not sure what it does.
I don't think I've noticed a sync after a restart except when upgrading firmware. As the sync is stopped when the firmware is downloaded and installed, an entry is added to the config file to indicate a sync should be done. This is mainly for the daily auto-sync so that if an upgrade happens in the middle of the night, the sync is done ready for the next day.

Got it. Still, now everytime it's connected to the WIFI, it's trying to sync, and since I replaced all the URLs to prevent just that, it's kind of in a loop trying to sync and draining the battery. Any way to prevent that? Where can I find this entry and remove it? It not, could someone post the URLs at the bottom of their config file so it syncs once and leave it alone after?
Thanks
