I called again and this time someone picked up (they have been ducking my calls all month). I again asked to speak the manager and they tried to deflect me to someone from the help desk. So I told them either I speak to the manager right now or I'd go to the police and tell them I was the victim of internet fraud.

Instantaneously the person identified themselves as someone from management and my case was miraculously found and shipped per express. The tracking number says I'll get it tomorrow.

In their email confirming the shipment it says:

Yeah, well, this much I knew about them. Doesn't change they are lacking in customer care and speed.

Will report back how the blasted thing works once I get it.
