Ran into the error of something went really wrong, but re-installing Python using the MR Installer fixed it.
From this link, download Helper, MR Package Installer and the relevant Python.
Install the Helper and MR Package Installer by pasting the folders to the root dir of your Kindle.
Paste the Python update bin into the MR installer folder.
Run KUAL -> Helper -> Install MR Packages
From the Github link (this is from the opening post), "Clone or Download" button, open it, get the 'librariansync' folder and paste it into /extensions on your Kindle.
Enjoy!
EDIT: If you did a dumb like me, for some reason, you have to be in airplane mode to update collections...

Hi, I'm having a similar problem. I've installed helper and librarysync through that. It says success. But when I try to sync from calibre using 'update collections from calibre' all it does is copy the collections with 0 books. All the books are copied outside the collections. I've even tried rebuilding but no use. all my books are either in mobi or epub format. Please help.
