There are a lot of choices of brands and kinds of soup if you are willing to shop on the Internet. I may order some Bear Creek and Alessi soups from somewhere, based upon your opinion of them.
Although Progresso soup is widely available in local stores, Target.com had a sale on them for $1.50 and, later $1.25 each, at the same time that they had a promotion of free shipping on an order of any amount (usually it is $50 minimum, I think). I used that as an opportunity to stock up on them.
But very cold weather is pretty rare here, even in the dead of winter, so I have to be careful and not buy so much that have cans of soup cluttering the shelves and counters until next winter.
