I switched to Android from iOS and to play books, since I like how it handles highlightning and annotations and syncing amongst them.

Sometimes, though, when I upload an epub to google play books, from the mac or the mobile phone app, the table of contents get messed up: items missing, bad sorting, sublevels completely missing.

I even tried adjusting the TOC with sigil but no joy.

Sometimes the TOC is bad on the web version, but good on the mobile app, or viceversa...

Any idea?
