As for the size, it seems to me the bigger size is better for reading in bed because it's actually easier to prop a larger device up on my chest when lying on my back or against the pillow when lying on my side. It's only when I'm out and about that the larger size may be a problem. I probably shouldn't be reading while walking anyway
Imo the Voyage is a great device. In my experience its operation and navigation feels very quick and responsive compared to Kobo devices, especially the Aura One.

Have you ever tried reading in landscape mode? A lot of the time I find it more comfortable and readable. The only thing is that you lose the "page press" buttons.

I tried reading the Aura One in bed last night. I felt it would have been better in landscape mode, but I'll have to wait until I get Koreader installed before I can do that. I felt that my eyes would have preferred the longer journey from left to right, instead of the large top to bottom movement. I was also disappointed by the color of the screen. The top was a nice yellowish color, like old paper. But at the bottom it was sort of green. I found it really distracting. In the end I just set it to the blue-ish light setting, which is not the warm tone I want while going to bed, but at least it is consistent. That is the sort of thing I think Kobo will probably fix in later versions of the Aura One, and I'll wish I had waited before buying mine.
